Despite a forecast of rain, Saturday, April 5 turned out to be a beautiful day for over 400 volunteers to participate in Shape Up Parks throughout Baltimore City Parks. Volunteers worked from 9am to 12pm in Druid Hill Park, Middle Branch Park, Hanlon Park, Gwynns Falls, Canton Dog Park, Thames St. Park, Riverside, St. Mary's Park on various projects including mulching, trash removal, invasive pulls and more! Thanks to all who participated!
See WBAL's report on the efforts in Druid Hill Park, featuring Anne Draddy, Jones Falls Trail Manager.
Herring Run park's participation in Project Clean Stream was highlighted in the Baltimore Sun and Middle Branch's project was photographed by the Baltimore Guide!
